I survived my first day with students....

I teach four different classes of 5th grade math students. Two of my groups seem to be wonderful and two of them are not.

Monday was a long and tiring day. I can't say that I am looking forward to today.

Please pray that God renews my strength and gives me the grace to deal with some of these children.

Blessings,
Debbie

Were you really up at 3:23am????
I will pray that you get rest. The first weeks ARE hard as you are training them and teaching them how to be good students along with the subject material. You are going to teach them so much more than just math, you will teach them how to be responsible young adults. YOU CAN DO THIS...I KNOW YOU CAN!!

I love you.

Isaiah 40:30-31
"Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength,
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."

Deborah,
No, that time is wrong. I was up at 5:00 AM. I worked a 10 hour day yesterday and today. We aren't even getting a duty free lunch. I have stayed after for two hours and really, I could have stayed longer but just left stuff undone.

I have two classes that are filled with behavior problems. I'll talk to you about them.

Love,
Debbie
